Matterof Balance Class to be held at St. Martin’s

Do you have concerns about falling? “A Matter of Balance” is an award-winning program designed to manage falls and increase activity levels. This seven week 2-hour session program emphasizes practical strategies to manage falls. Classes includea gentle exercise component to help strengthen your body and reduce falls. YOU WILL LEARN TO: View falls as controllable, set your goals for increasing activity, make changes to reduce fall risks at home, and exercise to increase strength and balance. WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Anyone concerned about falls, anyone interested in improving balance, flexibility and strength, anyone who has fallen in the past, and/or anyone who has restricted activity because of falling concerns. Classes will meet in the fellowship hall of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, Fairmont, every Wednesday April 18 – May 30 from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Suggested donation $25. RSVP Bone Builders

You can help your OWN bones stay strong, reduce
osteoporosis and strengthen your balance keeping you right side up, by
exercising with RSVP Bone Builders. Groups guided by trained volunteer leaders
and open to the public are forming in Gold Finch Estates, Maplewood and
Ingleside Residences. YOU can attend at no cost.  Plan to meet with them twice a week for an
